In the news, a 'roundup' is a short summary that brings together the most important facts or stories on a topic, like a 'weekly news roundup.' Police also talk about a 'roundup' of criminals, meaning they arrested a group of them at once. (You may also see 'Roundup' as a brand name for a weed-killing spray — that's a different, trademarked use.)
