A roadshow is a group of people who travel from town to town with the same show, the same talk, or the same service. A theatre company on tour is doing a roadshow; so is a film screened in many cities; so is a company team that goes around to tell people about a new product. The idea is always “we take it on the road” rather than waiting in one hall. It can be a noun (“the roadshow arrives on Friday”) and, less often, a verb (“they are roadshowing the album”). In business English it is quite common; in everyday talk, tour or on the road often sounds more natural.
