A ring-pull is the small metal ring on the top of a drinks can. You hook a finger in it and pull, and the can opens. British English likes this word; in American English people more often say pull tab, or just tab. Older cans had a ring-pull that came right off in your hand — and then became litter. Newer cans mostly keep the ring on the lid after you open them. You also hear it for food tins with the same kind of opener. Informal, everyday, shops and picnics.
ring-pull 是飲料罐頂端的小金屬環，用手指勾住拉開，罐子就打開了。食物罐頭也有類似的開罐環，所以也可以用這個字。這是英式英文常用的說法，美式英文通常說 pull tab，或直接說 tab。
以前的罐子，拉環拉下來就整個掉在手上，後來變成垃圾；比較新的罐子，拉環通常還連在罐蓋上。
這是很口語、很日常的字，常在商店或野餐的場合聽到。
