1. 1

Rimini is a city on the east coast of Italy, on the Adriatic Sea, in the northeast. People go there for the long beach and the summer crowds; it is one of Italy's big seaside towns. It is also a working port with industry, so it is not only a place. The old Roman name was Ariminium. Though actually, many film lovers know it as the hometown of the director Federico Fellini, who put that seaside feeling into his films. In English you say it roughly REE-mee-nee.
