Reversible describes something that can be turned back to how it was before — the opposite of permanent. A reversible decision can be changed or undone later; reversible damage can be healed or repaired, unlike permanent damage. In clothing, reversible means a piece can be worn with either side facing out — a reversible jacket gives you two looks in one garment.
