If something is reminiscent of another thing, it reminds you of it - it brings back a memory or feels similar to something from before. You could say a song is 'reminiscent of the 1980s', or a new restaurant's decoration is 'reminiscent of an old European café'. It's a slightly formal, descriptive word, common in reviews of music, movies, food, and design, when writers want to say 'this reminds me of...' in a way.
