    Relational is the adjective form we use for something that has to do with relationships - either between people, or between pieces of information. In everyday talk, you might hear about someone's 'relational skills' - how good they are at connecting with people, building trust, and communicating. In computers, a 'relational database' is a very common type of database where information is stored in tables that are linked, or 'related', to each other.
