1. 1

Regionally means “by region,” or in a way that concerns one area rather than the whole country or the whole world. Weather can differ regionally. A company can sell regionally — only in some areas. News can be reported regionally. It is the adverb from regional, so it answers how or where, not what kind. Neutral and a little formal: useful in school, news, and business. It does not mean that something happens again and again.
