Redeployment is the noun: the act of moving people or things to a different place or job. News and company letters talk about “the redeployment of staff” or “troop redeployment.” Same idea as redeploy, but naming the move rather than doing it. Though actually, in some workplaces “redeployment” is the calm word they put on a notice when jobs are disappearing in one place and they are offering work somewhere else — it can sound softer than “we are moving you.”
