Redeployment is the noun: the act of moving people or things to a different place or job. News and company letters talk about “the redeployment of staff” or “troop redeployment.” Same idea as , but naming the move rather than doing it. Though actually, in some workplaces “redeployment” is the calm word they put on a notice when jobs are disappearing in one place and they are offering work somewhere else — it can sound softer than “we are moving you.”
