Raunchy describes something made to be sexually in a way that feels crude, dirty, or a bit shocking — a raunchy joke, a raunchy film, raunchy lyrics. It is informal. It is stronger than a bit sexy and ruder than romantic: the heat is there on purpose, and some people will flinch. Though actually, younger speakers sometimes use it more loosely, just to mean quite rude and sexual, without sounding as shocked as their might. It is not a word for a formal essay, but it is common in reviews and chat. It judges the tone: not only that sex is in the room, but that it is played for heat and a little bad taste.
組成Of unknown etymology. It started as U.S. Army Air Corps slang among cadets in Texas. Some people have guessed a link to Mexican Spanish rancho (see ranch), which by the 1860s could suggest animal filth, but that is only a possible story.
