- 1v/ræn/跑（過去式）
The past tense of run — used to say that someone moved quickly on their feet, or did something with 'run', at a time before now.
「ran」就是 run 的過去式——昨天、剛剛這種「已經發生」的時候要用 ran，不是 runned。run 本身意思很多（用腳快速移動、經營、運作、流動…），這些意思的過去式統統都用 ran。可以想成：只要句子是在講「過去」，run 就換成 ran。過去分詞則是 run（has run），別跟過去式搞混。
