Prob is a casual, spoken shortcut for 'probably' — people say it in quick, relaxed conversation or texting, like 'I'll prob be a bit late.' You will also hear it inside the fixed phrase 'no prob', a shortcut for 'no problem', said when someone thanks you or apologizes and you want to say it's fine. Outside of these casual uses, 'prob' is not really its own separate word — it is always standing in for one of these two longer words.
口語簡稱:prob = probably(大概);no prob = no problem(沒問題)
