1. 1

A printout is the paper that comes out of a printer, with words or numbers from a computer on it — one sheet, or many sheets. It is a noun: “Can you give me a printout of the results?” The action is the verb print out (two words): “Print it out for me.” Older offices used long folded computer paper; now it is usually ordinary printer paper. In everyday talk some people just say a print or the printed copy. Though actually, a of a book is not a printout — a printout starts on the computer.
