Power-sharing is an arrangement where different groups — often political parties, or communities that have been in conflict — hold power together and make big decisions together, instead of one side keeping it all. You hear it in news about peace deals, coalition governments, and places trying to keep rivals inside the same system. It is a word, fairly formal, and it is usually written with a (power-sharing agreement). It is not about sharing electricity, and it is not the same as one strong leader simply asking others for advice; the point is that the right to decide is split. Though actually the split is often messy and unequal in real life; the word names the deal, not a perfect balance.
power-sharing 指不同團體一起掌權、共同做重大決定，而不是由一方獨攬。這個字常出現在和平協議、聯合政府的新聞裡，也用在想讓對手留在同一個體制內的地方。它是相當正式的政治用語，通常寫成連字號的形式，例如「power-sharing agreement」（權力分享協議）。
它不是指分享電力，也不是領導人只是聽取別人的建議。重點在於決定的權力被分開。現實中的分配常常混亂、不平均，但這個字指的是協議本身，不代表完美的平衡。
