A pornographer is a person whose work is to make pornography: magazines, films, pictures, and websites that show sex in order to people. The word names the maker, not the pictures themselves. You will mostly meet it in news, law, and rather formal writing. Everyday speech is more likely to say someone “makes porn,” and in Taiwan people may talk about an AV actor or a studio instead. It is a grown-up word, and it often sounds . Keep the family straight: the films and pictures are pornography; something that has that quality is ; the person who produces them is the pornographer.
