1. 1

A pop-under is an window that opens on a computer under the page you are looking at. You do not see it at once. When you close or move the top window, there it is. It is the shy cousin of a pop-up: a pop-up jumps in your face; a pop-under hides behind. The word belongs to websites and computer talk, and it feels a bit 2000s. Browsers now often block these. Though actually, people still mix the two names; if a window covers your page, you are looking at a pop-up, even if someone says pop-under.

    pop-under(藏在視窗底下的廣告;有別於直接跳出來的 pop-up)
