Plasma has two very different science meanings. In physics, plasma is a fourth state of matter — like a super-heated gas where particles are charged with electricity, found in things like lightning, the sun, and plasma TVs. In biology and medicine, plasma is the yellowish liquid part of your blood, where blood cells float.
