    Pinball is a game you play on a tall machine with a glass top and a board that down. You shoot a small metal ball up the board and try to stop it falling out at the bottom, using flippers at the sides. The ball hits lights, bumpers, and pins, and you score points. You find the machines in arcades and some bars more than in homes now. Informal; people just call the game pinball.
