1. 1

A British sound people make when they think someone looks very attractive in a sexy way: a long, phwoar while looking. It is playful and a bit cheeky, more comedy and magazines than polite talk. Aimed at a real person in the room, it can feel rude or like an old “lad” joke, so it is safer in stories than in real life. People sometimes stretch it to a car or a cake, still meaning “wow, that looks good”, but the core use is about a person. Writers sometimes use it as a verb: he phwoared at the poster. It copies the sound of the mouth starting a bit closed, then opening wide on that breath.

    看到人很正時發出的那種「哇」(英式、帶點色色的)
