1. 1藥理學的

Pharmacological is the adjective for the scientific study of drugs and medicines — how they work in the body, how much is safe, how they mix, what they do to cells and organs. The name of that science is pharmacology; this word is how you point to it. A pharmacological effect is an effect that comes from a drug acting on the body, not from rest, not from luck, and not from only believing the pill will help. You will see it in research, hospitals, and serious news. Though actually, people sometimes use it loosely to mean “anything to do with medicine,” which is a little wide. The tighter sense is: of the science of drugs, or caused by a drug in that scientific way.

組成From pharmacology + -ical. Pharmacology is English pharmaco- (from Ancient Greek φάρμακον, phármakon, “drug”) + -logy (from Greek λόγος / -λογία, “study”). Then Latin -icus and -ālis paths give the English adjective ending -ical: “of that study.”
