If something is perfectible, it can be or made perfect. A perfectible plan is not perfect yet; it can still be worked on. The word is fairly formal. You will see it in essays more than in chat. Do not hear it as a compliment meaning already excellent — it only says that improvement is possible. Some writers use it about people: a perfectible human being is one who can grow, learn, and become better. Though actually, that is a hope, not a promise: perfectible never says we will get there, only that the door is not closed.
