    British and informal: to park your car, often with the idea of stopping there for a while — truck drivers 'park up for the night'. You can say 'park up the car' or just 'park up'. Though actually, plain 'park' says the same thing, and outside Britain 'park up' may sound strange; you mainly need this one for understanding British speakers.
