Palatable describes food or drink that tastes good enough to eat - not necessarily , just pleasant and easy to swallow. It's often used for something that is 'good enough', not the most delicious thing ever. People also use it for ideas, plans, or changes that are easy for people to accept, even if they're not perfect ('a more palatable price').
