    Outstandingly means extremely well, or to a very high degree. She did outstandingly on the test. He played outstandingly. It also sits in front of other describing words: outstandingly good, outstandingly beautiful — here it means “to an unusual, excellent degree.” It comes from outstanding in the “very good” sense. Though actually outstanding can also mean a bill not yet paid, but outstandingly is almost never used that way. In speech, people often just say really well or amazingly.
