An orangery is a building, usually beside a large expensive house, where orange trees are grown. In places with hard winters the trees cannot live outside all year, so people built a long room with many windows — and later with glass — to keep them warm. It belongs to palaces and grand country houses, not to a normal garden. Though actually, some orangeries are now cafés or art rooms, and the trees are gone — but the name still tells you what the room was for.
