Oodles means a large amount — lots and lots. It is playful and informal, and it almost always comes with of: oodles of money, oodles of time, oodles of . You cannot really say an oodle; the word lives in the plural, like a pile with no edges. It feels American and a bit cute, the kind of word a or a might still enjoy. People do not use it in serious reports, and it does not mean a real number you can count. Nobody is quite sure where it came from; it may sit near older slang for a whole lot, or it may just have grown as a fun sound for “a huge pile.” Treat it as a friendly way to say a lot.
組成Uncertain. Perhaps from older slang scadoodles, or from boodle / caboodle plus a plural -s. There is no clean proof.
