Omnipresent means present everywhere, at all times. In religion, God is omnipresent — not here or there, but in all places at once. Though actually, most of the omnipresent you will read is not about God at all. Writers use it for things that seem to turn up wherever you look: phones, ads, plastic bags, a fashion, a . “Smartphones are omnipresent” is loose, but everyone understands it. The word feels a little formal; in speech people more often say they're everywhere. Older church English keeps the strict meaning. Newer newspaper English likes the stretched one. Both are real. It is an adjective. The noun is . Do not turn it into a noun yourself (“the omnipresent of cameras” is wrong).
