When something is old-style, it is like the kind of thing people had, or the way they did it, in the past — not the newest kind. An old-style café may still serve in the old way; old-style means the older way of doing . You will almost always see it in front of a noun: old-style cooking, an old-style machine. It sits close to old-fashioned. Though actually, old-fashioned can sound a little like “behind the times,” while old-style often just names a type — “the older kind” — without it. Everyday English; not slang and not stiff.
「old-style」指某樣東西像過去人們有的那種，或過去做事的方式，而不是最新的款式，例如「an old-style café」（還用老方式經營的咖啡店）。它幾乎都放在名詞前面，形式是「old-style + 名詞」，例如「old-style cooking」（老式的烹飪）、「an old-style machine」（老式機器）。
它和「老派」的意思很接近，但老派聽起來有點像跟不上時代，而這個字通常只點出一種類型，也就是比較舊的那一種，不帶批評。這是日常英文，不是俚語，也不拘謹。
