If you do something obsessively, you think about it or do it all the time, so other things do not get enough room. English often uses this word with a small — it shows : he checks his phone obsessively. You will also hear it as a kind of joke about loving something a lot (I watch that show obsessively), but the core idea is still too much, almost cannot stop. It describes the manner, not a medical label by itself.
