The NYSE is the New York Stock Exchange: the famous market in New York where people buy and sell shares in companies. People say the four letters: N-Y-S-E. The trading floor is in a building on Wall Street, so news often says ‘Wall Street’ for this whole money world — but the NYSE is the actual exchange with a name and a building. Companies list on the NYSE so their shares can be there. In Taiwan, people talking about US markets often name it next to Nasdaq, which is another American market, not the same place.
紐約證券交易所(常簡稱紐約證交所)
組成The initials of New York Stock Exchange.
