No-name products are not made by a well-known company, so they do not carry a well-known name. The box may only say what is inside. People buy them because they cost less. You will hear it as an adjective — no-name soda, a no-name brand — and sometimes as a noun for the product itself. It is a little , as if the thing is not a real brand, but it is also practical. Shops put it next to words like generic and store brand. Though actually, it is about the label, not about a person with no name. For a person, we say nameless, unknown, or a nobody.
白牌的、沒品牌的。台灣講沒牌子的商品、零件，最常說「白牌」。
