The NLRB is the National Labor Relations Board — a United States government body that watches how companies and unions deal with each other. If workers want to form a union, or if someone says a boss or a union broke the rules of fair work, this board may hear the case. It is an American office; other countries have their own labour bodies with different names. You will meet the letters in news about strikes, factories, and workers’ rights. People say each letter: “N-L-R-B”. It belongs to formal news and law, not to everyday chat.
