    A newsroom is the office in a newspaper, a TV station, or a radio station where news comes in and the reports are written. Think of desks, screens, editors, and a clock that always feels too fast. It is a place, not a person. Though actually, people also say the newsroom to mean the whole news team, even when some of them are working from home. Films make it look like everyone is shouting and running; real newsrooms can be quieter than that, but the idea is the same: this is where the day's stories are chosen and made ready to go out.
