A Nevadan is a person from the state of Nevada. You can also use it as an adjective: Nevadan means ‘of Nevada’ or ‘from Nevada’, as in a Nevadan law or the Nevadan desert. Though actually, visitors often mix this up with the state name itself. Nevada is the place; Nevadan is the person, or the word that points back to the place.
