British, old-fashioned slang: a way to tell someone to go away without a real swear word. It was famous in the 1970s–80s — a prison TV comedy used it, and Princess Anne was reported saying it. Today it sounds dated; you'll meet it in older books and shows more than on the street. Still rude enough to upset someone.
