Mythological describes anything that belongs to myths - old traditional stories, usually about gods, heroes, or magical creatures, that people once used to explain the world (like why the sun rises, or how a mountain was formed). A mythological creature, like a dragon or a phoenix, is one that only exists in these old stories, not in real life.
