Someone's ministrations are the care they give — most often to a person who is ill, or the help a priest gives when someone is dying, afraid, or in need of the church. It is a rather old, word; you will meet it in stories and formal writing more than in everyday talk. Though actually, English almost always uses the plural: we say her ministrations, not a ministration. The feeling is of patient, hands-on looking-after, not a quick favour. A nurse's ministrations are the small things done at the . A priest's ministrations are prayers, comfort, and the church's care. You would not use this word for a government minister's job; that is a different, later use of minister.
組成From the verb minister, “to serve or care for someone,” plus -ation, which turns a verb into a noun. The minister here is the old “serve” sense, not the government title.
