    A mincer is a kitchen machine that cuts meat into very small pieces by forcing it through small holes. What comes out is mince. The word is mainly British. In a UK kitchen, “Pass me the mincer” means this machine. Americans usually call the same tool a meat , and they call the meat ground meat. Older mincers have a handle you turn; newer ones are electric. A person who minces meat could be called a mincer too, but that is not the picture the word usually brings up.
