A medico is a doctor. The word is informal, a little old-fashioned, and often slightly — the sort of thing you hear in an old film, a crime story, or from someone trying to sound casual: “You’d better see a medico.” On a clinic door, in a school essay, or when you want to be polite, you say doctor. Medico is not rude, but it is not the careful or official word either. Some older speakers and some military talk still like it. Though actually, in Italian and Spanish, medico is simply the ordinary word for doctor. English borrowed the sound and kept it as slang.
組成From Italian (and also Spanish) medico, “doctor,” from Latin medicus. It does not split into English pieces.
