- 1
A magnolia is a tree, or the large flower it produces, known for big, beautiful, cup-shaped blooms, usually white, pink, or purple, that appear in spring before most of the leaves. In British English, "magnolia" is also the name of a very common, pale creamy-white paint color used on walls, so common that people sometimes use it to mean "boring" or "safe," as in "a very magnolia choice."
木蘭(花/樹);(英式)乳白色油漆
組成Named after Pierre Magnol, a French botanist — the word is a person's name turned into a plant name, which is common for flowers.
