If you feel liverish, you feel a bit ill — heavy, not quite well, maybe a little sick in the stomach — often after too much food, too much drink, or a rich meal. It is a rather British, rather old word, and a little jokey. People used to blame the liver for that after-dinner misery, so the word is simply liver + -ish: a bit like a troubled liver. You would not use it for a serious illness. A doctor would not write it on a chart. A grandparent might say they feel liverish the morning after a feast.
