To connect or fit well with something else — plans, systems, . Almost always 'link in with': 'our lessons link in with the school exam schedule'. Mostly British, and a bit office-flavored; Americans would sooner say 'tie in with'. Though actually many students only ever meet 'LinkedIn' the website, which is a name, not this verb.
