A life-size picture, statue, or model is the same size as the real person or thing. Stand next to a life-size horse, and it is as big as a living horse. Museums, film studios, and shops use it for models and cardboard figures. You can also say life-sized; both are fine. Though actually we do not call a living person “life-size” — they already are. And larger than life is not a measurement in metres: that phrase means someone feels big, famous, or dramatic. Life-size is about real size, usually of a copy.
