Leninism is the political teaching tied to Lenin, built on Karl Marx: ideas about power, money, and how society should be run. Marx wrote about class and workers; Lenin added how a small, tight party might take power — even in a country that was still mostly farms — and how that party should hold on to it. People often say for the mix the Soviet Union taught as official truth. Though actually, the word is a banner as much as a careful reading of books: later leaders used “Leninism” to back their own plans, and scholars still argue over what is Lenin and what was added after him. You meet it in history and , not in the shop. It names a set of ideas, not a city, and not “being like Lenin” as a person.
