To left-click is to press the left button of a computer mouse — for most people, the button under the index finger. That is the ordinary click: you left-click to choose something, open a file, or press a button on the screen. The other button is a right-click, which usually opens a small menu of extra choices. On a laptop the same idea lives on the trackpad. The word is mainly a verb (Left-click the icon), though people also say a left-click as a noun. It belongs only to computer talk. Though actually, some mice swap the buttons for , so in software “left-click” still means the main button even when it is no longer on the left side of the mouse.
「left-click」指的是按下滑鼠左邊那顆按鍵，對大多數人來說就是食指底下那顆。這是最一般的「點一下」：選取東西、打開檔案、按螢幕上的按鈕，都是用左鍵完成的。另一顆是右鍵，通常會跳出一個小選單；筆電上則由觸控板做同樣的事。
