A kissogram is a British novelty greeting. You pay someone to arrive at a birthday, an office, or a party — often in a silly costume, a fake police outfit being the old cliché — and kiss the person in front of everyone. It is meant as a joke, not as a real romantic kiss, and it can embarrass as much as it amuses. The fashion was strongest in the late twentieth century; many younger people in Britain have only heard of it. It is not a thing people book in Taiwan. The word blends kiss with telegram: the old idea of a message delivered to the door, except the message is a kiss.
