Kickball is an American children’s game that looks like baseball, only you kick a large rubber ball instead of hitting a smaller one with a bat. You still run to bases, and one team is in the field. It is what many primary schools in the United States play in the playground or in PE. You will not hear the word much in Taiwan, where children more often play baseball, softball, or 樂樂棒球. It is a kids’ game, not a professional sport.
