To jiggle something is to make it move a little, quickly, from side to side or up and down — not a big swing, just a small shake that keeps happening. You can also jiggle yourself: jelly jiggles on a plate; a baby jiggles on your knee. You jiggle a key in a stiff lock, or jiggle a drawer that will not open. As a noun, a jiggle is that little shaky movement itself. Though actually, it is lighter than shake: shake can be strong; jiggle is short, loose, and a bit silly. The word is everyday and informal — fine with friends, a bit light for a serious report. People do stretch it: they talk about jiggling the numbers (moving them around until they look nicer), which is playful and a little suspicious. There is a slightly rude side too. People sometimes use it about a person’s body moving as they walk, and that can sound teasing or , so be careful there.
