Jeggings are very tight trousers. They look like skinny blue jeans, but they stretch like leggings. Some are really jeans cut very close; some are leggings printed or to look like denim, with fake pockets and a fake fly. The word is a blend of jeans and leggings, and it became common in shops in the 2010s. Like jeans and leggings, it is usually plural: you buy jeggings, you wear jeggings, you talk about a pair of jeggings. They are fashion talk, informal, mostly about women’s and girls’ clothes, though the idea is just “ jeans-look trousers.” They are not a formal word and not a technical one.
仿牛仔緊身褲(看起來像牛仔褲、穿起來像內搭褲那種)

fashionlifestyleDenim leggings, or very skinny jeans.
- I remember first reading about jeggings (jeans+leggings) in 2009. How ridiculous it sounded then, a word that conjured up images of urinary infections and squished buttocks. Four years later, the M&S website devotes an entire section to this fashion hybrid.
