Your jawline is the shape of the lower edge of your face — the line from the chin back toward the ear, where the jaw meets the skin. People talk about a strong jawline, a sharp jawline, a soft jawline. It is a favourite word in photos, makeup, and gym talk: light is said to show the jawline. Though actually, everyone has a jawline; the word just became fashionable for that outline. It is not the same as the chin (the front point) and not the same as the neck.
